Anna Pritchard

PhD in Biomedical Engineering

Emory University & Georgia Tech

Anna is a Ph.D. student in the Coulter Dept. of BME at Emory/GT. She is part of the clinical iBCI research team. Her current focus involves understanding how the brain controls upper-limb movements so that upper-limb functionality can be restored in people with tetraplegia. She is working to develop a reach-and-grasp iBCI system that is more functional and user-friendly than current approaches. Anna’s BS and MS work was also in BME, developing analysis pipelines for understanding how spinal circuits change post-injury. Anna is a fellow of the NIH Computational Neuroengineering Training Program at GT/Emory and the NSF GRFP.
