Sean O’Connell completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering PhD, where his thesis research focused on development of new computational and experimental methods for high-fidelity extraction of motor unit firing from high-resolution intramuscular recordings. In particular, he demonstrated a novel approach to sorting motor unit action potentials from intramuscular recordings. He is interested in neurotechnology innovation in industry, pushing the frontier of knowledge, and having a positive impact.
