Yahia is currently a Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. student in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Emory University and Georgia Tech. His research focuses on real-time dynamical systems modeling for building robust, high-performance brain-computer interfaces.
Yahia received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2019. His undergraduate research focused on developing an automated rodent training system for motor control studies. His senior capstone focused on designing fetal heart monitor technology for hospitals in low-resource areas.
