BrainGate Clinical Trial

BrainGate We are actively recruiting participants for the pilot clinical study of the BrainGate2 Neural Interface System. Our focus in this multi-location clinical trial is to test a system to restore people’s ability to communicate and control external devices using a brain-computer interface. The device will record brain activity related to when the person is trying to move their limbs or speak, and then attempt to translate this brain’s activity into text or control of a computer or robotic arm. The study is invasive and requires surgery. Clinical trial participants must live within a three-hour drive of Emory University. The study requires a commitment of 13 months. Additional information is available at Clinicaltrials.gov. For more information, please contact us: braingate@emory.edu
